OUR STAFF

Adam conner

Lead Pastor
Adam joined the Valley Church staff in 2007 serving in Student Ministry, afterwards serving as the Associate Pastor from 2015-2023 until the Lord moved he and his family to Central Florida where he served as Family Pastor for a large church. After a few years Adam was approached by the leadership of Valley Church to return to take the role of Lead Pastor as former Lead Pastor Brett Parks prepared for his new ministry appointment as a missionary to Berlin, Germany. After much prayer and consideration, Adam returned to Valley Church in June 2025, and in October 2025 Adam was unanimously approved by the church for the Lead Pastor role starting starting November 1, 2025. Adam and his wife Kensie met at Valley Church as students, were married at Valley Church in 2009, and went on to adopt 3 amazing kids - Larissa, McKinley, and Malachi. Aside from Adam's love for golf and sweet tea, the Conners enjoy pizza and movie nights, biking, and focused time with friends and family over good food and conversation.

Missionary Pastor
Brett and his wife Corinne were married in 2006, and have 4 daughters: Haddie, Gemma, Remy, and Raya (Remy and Raya are twins). He has been on staff at Valley since 2010, and served as the Lead Pastor from September 2015 through October 2025. He is in the role of Missionary Pastor as he and his family prepare to go into missions and move to Germany in the summer of 2026. Brett’s ministry passions are for our church to be formed into the likeness of Christ and to multiply all that God has given us for His glory. Having grown up in a coach’s house, he is an avid sports fan and is always ready to share quotes/references from The Office with anyone.

brandon Pittenger

Formation Pastor
Brandon has been a part of Valley Church since 2010. He and his wife Grace married and moved to Terre Haute in early 2010 and have been here ever since. They have 4 fun and energetic children, Addie, Luca, David and Barrett. Brandon's primary role at Valley Church will be the development of discipleship pathways, group leaders, and ministry directors. The assimilation of new believers and new visitors to the Valley network is especially important to him. In addition to shepherding our church through song and worship on Sunday mornings alongside his wife, Grace who is our Music Director, Brandon also shares in the preaching rotation. One of his greatest passions is to help others to see and fall in love with Jesus. He loves being a husband and a father, spending time with his family, and also enjoys eating Oreos, playing basketball and powerlifting.

seth Wiram

Campus Pastor of Valley Church Clinton
Seth is married to Emily and has three kids: Jordan, Lydia, and Titus. He is the Campus Pastor of our first ever church plant in Clinton, which is Valley Church Clinton . Seth’s passions for ministry include community and abroad missions, multiplication, and intentional discipleship in the group model. The Wirams love hiking, playing Super Smash Brothers, and disc golf.

Family Pastor
Matt and Sarah have been married since 2011 and have 5 wonderful children. Matt has been a member of Valley Church since 2007 when he joined after attending the youth group for a few years. They have served in children’s ministry for over 15 years. Their ministry umbrella covers the K-5th grade age group here at Valley. Their passion for ministry includes sharing God’s word, memorizing scripture, singing, and playing with the children here at Valley Church. Matt is currently attending Eternity Bible College and pursuing a degree in Advanced Biblical Studies and Cultural Exegesis. Matt enjoys large chocolate milkshakes, Anime, and funny videos.

Administration Director
Kara and her husband Joe have been married since 2013, and have 3 kids, Lilo, Allister, and Titus. Kara is the Director of Administration at Valley Church, and has been on staff since 2014. Kara's role includes all forms of communication, graphic design, and directing the Valley Kid's 0-4's Ministry. Kara's ministry passions are for our littlest ones to feel and know the love of Christ, and also for our communication to be clear and lead our church towards the Lord. Kara is a Swiftie who enjoys warm weather specifically on the beach, growing flowers and making bouquets, and traveling with her family!

Maggie Stuhr

Ministry Events Director
Maggie and her husband Zach have been married since 2021. She was brought on as the Director of Ministry Events after her college internship in 2021 and organizes and implements a variety of occasions throughout the year. She also covers several office hours during the week and loves working with the middle school student ministries. Maggie's biggest passion in her role is creating and organizing events that glorify God and serve his church in unique ways. Maggie is a big Disney parks nerd and loves spending time outside looking at trees.
